New Beginners Classes starting next week. Add some Tai Chi Chuan training to your New Year’s resolution!
Tonight we had our Holiday Party. It was a gathering with our Tai Chi family to enjoy food, friendship, and laughter. We are humbled to have such wonderful and dedicated students. Thank you for all who came out tonight to make this night very special.
The staff of Strength From Within wishes you and your families a very Happy Holiday and a joyous New Year. A big Thank You to all of the students who have supported classes with Ben and Lisa. May 2012 bring you much joy, happiness, and good Qi!

Did you know Strength From Within has a YouTube channel? Well, so far we have 2 videos of Tai Chi forms, with more to come! The Grand Ultimate Way channel will feature videos of Ben and Lisa doing various forms and classes. It’s new, it’s exciting, and most of all entertaining! One of our students mentioned in class that our local PBS station (WHYY in Philadelphia) was running a special called Longevity Tai Chi with Arthur Rosenfeld. Mr Rosenfeld describes the program on his website:
“There is a growing body of Western scientific data that show how and why tai chi is so good for us. My new PBS show, Longevity Tai Chi with Arthur Rosenfeld, explores this information by taking you on a whirlwind cross-country tour of some top university research labs where tai chi is being studied. You’ll learn about tai chi’s sophisticated body mechanics, about quantum interpretations of qi (you’ll even get to see me emitting qi from the palm of my hand), and you’ll get to see tai chi practiced from coast to coast.”
Mr. Rosenfeld is an author, martial artist, and of course, Tai Chi practitioner. I have followed his insightful articles for many years now and enjoyed this program. Whether you are a beginning or advanced Tai Chi practitioner, Longevity Tai Chi will highlight the vast healing properties that Tai Chi is famous for. It is truly worth an hour of your time.
For those in the WHYY viewing area, the next broadcast of Longevity Tai Chi will be Saturday, August 20th at 10AM. Check your local PBS listings for other times.
Back in June, I was asked by Sensei Tim and Ester Rosanelli of Maximum Impact Karate to perform a demo of our Short Form for Dublin Community Day. This is to promote our new classes at their dojo. Currently we are offering beginner classes Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30, and starting in the fall Lisa Raezer will be offering classes on Tuesday evenings.
Check out the short form video below. Also, check out Sensei Tim’s You Tube channel for some of his Karate teachings and demos.
